Inn Valley Motorway (A12, A13 - Toll road) - Exit: Zillertal. Take Federal Highway B169 to Mayrhofen, then the Tux Road to Hintertux. (From Motorway exit to Hintertux approx 31 mi/50km). It is well cleared and spread with gravel in winter. Snow chains are required when new snow falls. Weights limit 16 tons, max. vertical clearance in avalanche galleries 4.2m.

Express railways station: Jenbach/Tyrol. Ziller Valley Railway Company (train or bus service) to Mayrhofen. Post bus service from Mayrhofen to Hintertux.
